Of its 244,075 reports broadcast since 2013, even FOX devoted 2.4 percent to climate change – and thus not only exceeded the threshold of perception but gave this topic twice as much space as the catastrophic state of the American education system. CBS may go down in history as a “climate channel” – hardly any other topic has received as much attention from the editorial team. Both broadcasters agree that things have not changed for the better during any of the last three administrations. The current cartoons on hurricane coverage illustrate the result by showing Donald Trump claiming that with him as president, there would be no hurricanes to complain about.
